Why we love this deal
You won’t find a more respected brand in watchmaking than Seiko. Its watches are beloved all over the world. While Switzerland is known as the home of the world’s most expensive luxury watches, Japan is known for the world’s most affordable luxury watches. Thankfully, that affordability doesn’t come at the expense of quality. If you needed any evidence of this fact, I would simply direct you to a Seiko watch deal I found at Amazon.
The Seiko Essentials Green Quartz Chronograph is on sale for $199 at the moment. That’s 30% off the original price of $285. If you’re ready to take the plunge and finally get your first luxury watch, then come on in. The water’s just fine.

Why do shoppers love it?
This watch has all the hallmarks of a high-end timepiece, minus the price tag. The case and bracelet are both made from high-grade 316L stainless steel. That means the watch is corrosion resistant and even rustproof. The 44-millimeter case is tough, and it looks the part. It’s a robust piece with plenty of wrist presence, which is always a good thing when it comes to showing off your new watch. The textured green dial is attractive and refined, while the three chronograph subdials reflect running seconds, minutes, and hours respectively.
Around the outside of the dial is a tachymeter for tracking times when using the chronograph function. There are also large applied hour markers arranged in a concentric circle pattern. The handset has a generous coating of luminescent material. This allows the watch to be highly legible, even in low-light conditions. You also get a reasonable water resistance rating of 30 meters with this watch. While that’s not ideal for swimming, you can surely wash the dishes or go for a stroll in light rain without damaging the watch’s inner workings.
Speaking of the inner workings, this piece is powered by a Japanese Seiko chronograph quartz movement. It uses a standard watch battery and keeps time far more accurately than even some of its mechanical luxury Swiss counterparts. The battery should likely only require a change every couple of years. This model is available in four colorways as well, so feel free to express your personal style through the variant you choose.
